Ziggy Krassenberg (born May 24, 2001),[1][2] known mononymously as Ziggy, was a contestant on Season 22 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Ziggy auditioned in Los Angeles. He sang "Million Reasons" by Lady Gaga. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Ziggy was the last to perform during the Idol Arena stage, singing "All I Want" by Kodaline. He was subsequently seen in a montage of contestants who survived the round, alongside Michael Rice, Elleigh Marie, Kennedy Reid, Ajii, Nya, and Kaibrienne. For his Showstopper performance, he sang "This is Me" by Keala Settle. At the Final Judgment, he was called up alongside Mackenzie Sol. The judges could not decide between the two, so a sing-off commenced. He then sang "Jealous" by Labrinth. Afterwards, the judges told him that he did not do enough to become a Top 24 semifinalist, and thus he was eliminated from the competition.
