William was shown in a group called "Unexpected Vibe" with Shayy, Dimitrius Graham and Assata Renay singing "I Want it That Way" by Backstreet Boys. Near the end of their performance, the other three members put on swimming goggles as a sign of respect for Shayy. William was the only member of his group to be eliminated.
