William "Will" Makar (born March 2nd, 1989) was a contestant on Season 5 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Will auditioned in Austin. He sang "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" by The Temptations. Although Paula voted "no", Randy and Simon voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Will's stay in Hollywood was hown in the group round where he was shown in a group called "The Rat Pack" with Kevin CovaisDavid Radford and Josh Jordan singing "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra. Everyone in his group advanced. Later he sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon & Garfunkel for his final solo performance. At the judges' final deliberation, they told him he would advance to the Top 24 instead of Syd Harcourt.

Will sang "I Want You Back" by The Jackson 5. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 20[]

Will sang "Lady" by Kenny Rogers. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 16[]

Will sang "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)" by Marvin Gaye. He received the lowest number of votes amongst the boys and was eliminated.
