Audition[]
Tyler auditioned in New York. He sang "Whenever You Come Around" by Vince Gill. All three judges voted "Yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Tyler was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week, in the same Group of Ten as Madison Vandenburg, Margie Mays, and Logan Johnson. He advanced and for his final solo performance, he sang "Broken Halos" by Chris Stapleton. He was placed in the third deliberation room, along with Wade Cota, Dimitrius Graham, Alyssa Raghu, Bumbly, Kason Lester, Eddie Island, Shawn Robinson, and Myra Tran. It was revealed that everyone in the room advanced.
Hawaii Round[]
Tyler sang "Suitcase" by Steve Moakler. Afterwards, he was called up alongside Laine Hardy for the Final Judgment. The judges told him that Laine had advanced but he did not.
