Tyler Grady (born October 26th, 1989) was a contestant on Season 9 of American Idol.

AuditionEdit

Tyler auditioned in Boston. He sang "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye. All four judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood RoundEdit

Tyler was shown in a montage of contestants who survived Group round. He sang "Home" by Daughtry for his final solo performance. He was placed in the same holding room as Casey James, Tim Urban, Andrew Garcia, Todrick Hall, Katie Stevens, Jermaine Sellers, Siobhan Magnus, Crystal Bowersox, Alex Lambert, Michael Lynche, Thaddeus Johnson, Tori Kelly, Lilly Scott and Jeff Goldford. Everyone in his room advanced. At the final deliberation, the judges told him he did enough to make the Top 24.

Top 24Edit

Tyler sang "American Woman" by The Guess Who. He along with Joe Munoz was placed in the Bottom 2 among the male contestants for that week, eliminating him from the competition.
