The Rush Week of American Idol comprised of thirty contestants. It started on February 18th, 2014 and ended February 20th, 2014.
Unlike the majority of semifinals, ten contestants were eliminated, while twenty contestants were chosen to sing.
In addition, the voting results to determine whether Ben Briley or Neco Starr would become the thirtieth contestant to participate at Rush Week were announced. Ben won the vote.
