Tenna Torres (born February 26th, 1984) was a contestant on Season 11 and Season 12 of American Idol.

Season 11 Audition

Tenna's audition was not televised, but Randy mentioned during the Season 12 Quarterfinals that Tenna did audition the prior year, and the American Idol website indicated that she auditioned in Pittsburgh. At least two judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Season 11 Hollywood Round

Tenna's stay in Hollywood wasn't shown much, but she did manage to make it to the Las Vegas Round.

Season 11 Las Vegas Round

Tenna was shown in a montage of contestants who were eliminated in the group stage.

Season 12 Audition

Tenna auditioned in New York. She sang "You've Got a Friend" by James Taylor. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Season 12 Hollywood Round

Tenna was shown in a group called "Urban Hue" with Kiara Lanier, Jett Hermano and Seretha Guinn singing "American Boy" by Estelle, ft. Kanye West. Everyone in the group except Seretha advanced. She eventually did enough to make the Top 20 Girls.

Top 40

Tenna appeared in Female Group 1 and sang "Soulmate" by Natasha Bedingfield. Afterwards, the judges told her that she did enough to become a semifinalist.

Top 20

Tenna sang "Lost" by Faith Hill. She did not manage to place among the five highest voted female contestants, eliminating her from the competition.
