Spencer Lloyd was a contestant on Season 13 of American Idol.


Spencer audition in Austin. He sang "Never Gone" by Colton Dixon. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Spencer was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week, in the same Group of Ten as David Oliver Willis, singing "Say Something" by A Great Big World, ft. Christina Aguilera. He advanced and was shown in a group with Megan Miller and Alyssa Siebken. He advanced along with Megan. For his final solo performance, he sang an original song. At the Final Judgment, the judges decided that he did enough to become a Top 30 finalist.

Top 30[]

Spencer was chosen by the judges to sing during Rush Week. He sang "Love Don't Die" by The Fray. He did not receive enough votes to place among the five men with the highest votes, however he was selected by the judges to sing again as a Wild-Card.


Spencer sang an original song called "Ordinary Girl". He was not selected by the judges to become a Top 13 finalist, eliminating him from the competition.
