Skylar Laine Harden, known professionally as Skylar Laine (born February 1st, 1994) was a contestant on Season 11 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Skylar auditioned in Galveston. She sang "Hell on Heels" by Pistol Annies. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Skylar was shown in the final part of Hollywood Week, singing "You Lie" by The Band Perry for her final solo performance. Afterwards, she was placed in the second deliberation room along with Eben Franckewitz, Phillip Phillips, Shannon Magrane, Jeremy Rosado, Reed Grimm and Jessica Phillips where it was revealed that everyone had advanced.
Las Vegas Round[]
Skylar was shown in a group with Chase Likens, Colton Dixon and Cari Quoyeser singing "Dedicated to the One I Love" by The "5" Royales. Everyone in the group except for Cari advanced.
For her final solo performance, she sang "Fancy" by Bobby Gentry. At the Final Judgment, the judges told her that she did enough to make the Top 24.

Skylar sang "Stay with Me" by Faces. She was placed in the Top 5 girls based on America's vote, making her a Top 13 finalist.
