Scarlett Lee (born September 20, 1997) was a contestant on Season 22 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Scarlett auditioned in Santa Barbara. She sang "Clown" by Emeli Sandé. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Although Scarlett's Idol Arena performance was untelevised, she was put in the same group as Hailey Mia, Justice Murphy, Jordan Anthony, Micaela McCall, KBlocks, Mackenzie Sol, Dawson Slade, Jennifer Jeffries, Will Moseley, Ty'Esha La'Shae, Brant McCollough, and Triston Harper, where the judges told them they advanced to the next round. After her untelevised Showstopper performance, she was shown in a montage of contestants who were eliminated at the Final Judgment, just shy of the Top 24—receiving the news alongside fellow English overseas contestant, Michael Rice.

  • Scarlett is originally from Surrey, just outside of London, England.
  • She is of British Romany descent.
  • Scarlett appeared on the fifteenth and final series of the UK original version of The X Factor, where she finished as the runner-up behind Dalton Harris.[1] Her mentor was Simon Cowell.
