Sam Moss was a contestant on Season 20 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Sam initially auditioned in Austin. Lionel and Luke voted "no".

Sam then auditioned again in Nashville. She sang an original song. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Sam was shown in a montage of contestants who survived the Genre Challenge, alongside Taylor Fagins, Lady K, Betty Maxwell, Elli Rowe, Haley Slaton, Allegra Miles and Dakota Hayden. She would later be shown in a duet with Haley called "Watermelon Smugglers". They sang "Dancing on My Own" by Robyn. After her untelevised final solo performance, she was shown in a montage of contestants who were eliminated at the judges deliberation.

Trivia[]
