Sal Valentinetti was a contestant on Season 14 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Sal auditioned in New York. He sang "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra. Although Harry voted "no", Adam and Jennifer voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Sal was called up by the judges immediately before Hollywood Round could official begin. He sang "For Once in My Life" by Stevie Wonder. He was later shown in a group called "Sal's Gals" with Kelley Kime, JAX and Alexis Danielle Granville singing "Drive By" by Train. He was eliminated at this stage of the competition.

- Sal auditioned for the eleventh season of America's Got Talent and received a Golden Buzzer from Heidi Klum. He placed fifth that year, and was selected to compete in America's Got Talent: The Champions a couple years later, making him the first American Idol alum to do so until Tone the Chiefrocca did so in 2023.
