The song was written by E. Kidd Bogart,^[1] FRND,^[2] HARLOE,^[3] Ella Henderson,^[4] and Eman Kiriakou.^[5] It was co-produced by Kiriakou w/ FRND;^[6] and subsequently released through Hollywood Records.^[7]

Co-writer, English singer Ella Henderson, was herself a contestant, on the ninth series of The X Factor UK. She came in sixth place, when she and eventual winner James Arthur were in the Bottom 2—considered to be among the most shocking eliminations in the show's history.^[9]
