American Idol Wiki

"Raised on Dirt" is the coronation song by Caleb Kennedy, who withdrew–[1]—and thusly placed fifth on Season 19 of American Idol.

The song was co-written by Caleb and Mason Douglas Horne.[2] It was produced by Redah + Ross Copperman.[3]

Delayed Release[]

Due to Caleb's withdrawal from the competition,[1] his single was not released along with the other Top 7 contestants.[2] Instead, it was postponed for an autumn launch.[2] Compelled to be released independently, the song was self-distributed under "C.K. Records".[4]
