Audition[]

Nya auditioned in Los Angeles. She sang "Wait a Minute!" by Willow Smith. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Nya was shown at Idol Arena, singing "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin. She was subsequently seen in a montage of contestants who survived the round, alongside Kaibrienne, Michael Rice, Kennedy Reid, Elleigh Marie, Ajii, and Ziggy. For her final solo performance, she sang "Get Ready" by The Temptations. At the Final Judgment, the judges told her that she did enough to become a Top 24 semifinalist.

Top 24 (Hawaii Round)[]

Nya was mentored by Tori Kelly in Group 1. She sang "The Best" by Tina Turner. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Top 20[]

Nya sang "Georgia on My Mind" by Ray Charles. She did not receive enough votes to place amongst the Top 10 contestants, putting her in the Danger Zone. She then sang "Water" by Tyla. The judges chose to save her from elimination, making her a Top 14 finalist.

Top 14[]

Nya sang "I Say a Little Prayer" by Aretha Franklin. She, alongside Jordan Anthony, received the lowest number of votes, thus eliminating her from the competition.
