Mikalah Analise Gordon (born January 14th, 1988) was a contestant on Season 4 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Mikalah auditioned in Las Vegas. She sang "Lullaby of Birdland". All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Mikalah was shown in the first part of Hollywood Round. On the final part of Hollywood Round, she sang "God Bless the Child" by Billie Holliday. It was revealed afterwards that she did enough to advance along with Anthony Fedorov, Jaclyn Crum, Tammy Wynette Nash, Scott Savol, John Zisa, Bo Bice, Lindsey Cardinale and Jessica Sierra. During the judges' final deliberation, it was revealed that she did enough to make the Top 24.

Mikalah sang "Young Hearts Run Free" by Candi Staton. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Top 20[]

Mikalah sang "God Bless the Child" by Billie Holliday. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Top 16[]

Mikalah sang "Somewhere" by Reri Grist. She received enough votes to make the Top 12.

Top 12[]

Mikalah sang "Son of a Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield. She was placed in the Bottom 2 for that week.

Top 11[]

Mikalah sang "Love Will Lead You Back" by Taylor Dayne. She received the lowest number of votes that week, eliminating her from the competition.

Mikalah later became the reporter in the finale for a few seasons of American Idol.
