Michelle Sussett (born August 2, 1995) was a contestant on Season 16 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Michelle auditioned in Los Angeles. She sang "Techno Cumbia" by Selena. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Michelle appeared in the Solo Rounds singing "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross. She advanced and during Showcase Round, she sang "24K Magic" by Bruno Mars. At the Final Judgment, it was revealed that she did enough to make the Top 24.
Top 24[]
Michelle was shown in Group 1. She sang "If I Were a Boy" by Beyonce and "I Can't Make You Love Me" by Bonnie Raitt in a duet with Luis Fonsi. The judges felt she was good enough to become a Top 14 finalist.
Top 14[]
Michelle sang "Friends" by Marshmello, ft. Anne-Marie during the Live Show and an original song called "I'm a Dreamer" for the Results Show. Although she did not make the Top 6 in voting, the judges chose her to be a Top 10 finalist.
Top 10[]
Michelle sang "Remember Me" by Natalie Lafourcade & Miguel from the film Coco. She, alongside Dennis Lorenzo and Ada Vox, received the lowest number of votes, thus eliminating her from the competition.
