Mathenee Treco (born April 23, 1986) was a contestant on Season 11 and Season 12 of American Idol.

Season 11 Audition

Mathenee auditioned in Aspen. He sang "Hey Jude" by The Beatles. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Season 11 Hollywood Round

Mathenee was shown in the second part of Hollywood Week, in a group called "Make You Believers" with Amy Brumfield, Dustin Cundiff and Jacquie Cera singing "More Than a Feeling" by Boston. He was the only member of his group to advance. He later appeared in an unknown deliberation room that was told that they advanced to the final seventy.

Season 11 Las Vegas Round

Mathenee was shown in a group with Lauren Gray and Wendy Taylor singing "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles. He was the only member of his group to be eliminated.

Season 12 Audition

Mathenee's audition was not televised, but a flashback revealed he auditioned in Oklahoma City.

Season 12 Hollywood Round

Mathenee was shown in the first televised Group of Ten along with Micah Johnson, Peter Garrett, Bryant Tadeo and Devan Jones. Each one of them advanced. He was later shown in a group called "The Math-Heads" with Gabe Brown, Nick Boddington and Matheus Fernandes singing "Somebody to Love" by Queen. Everyone in the group advanced. After his untelevised final solo performance, he advanced along with Nick, Charlie Askew and JDA.

Top 40

Mathenee appeared in Male Group 2 and sang "A Little Less Conversation" by Elvis Presley. Afterwards, the judges told him he did not become a semifinalist.
