Audition[]
Mark auditioned in Chicago. Although he was never shown singing, he was shown briefly dancing like Michael Jackson. Randy and Paula both liked his voice and his ability to imitate Michael Jackson, but Simon voiced strong concerns that someone who is good at impersonating Jackson should not advance. Randy and Paula voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Mark was shown in a group visibly forgetting his lyrics. Despite this, he managed to advance. Later on, he managed to make the Top 30.
Top 30[]
Mark sang "My Girl" by The Temptations. He did not receive enough votes that week to make the Top 10, eliminating him from the competitions.
