Mandisa Lynn Hundley (born October 2nd, 1976), known professionally as Mandisa was a contestant on Season 5 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Mandisa auditioned in Chicago. She sang "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Mandisa was shown in the first part of Hollywood Round singing "I Believe in You and Me" by Whitney Houston. She was shown in a montage with Sarah Enouen and Brooke Barrettsmith singing "Band of Gold" by Freda Payne. After her final solo performance, she managed to make the judges' final forty-four and at the final deliberation, she was told that she did enough to make the Top 24.
