Majesty Rose York (born February 29, 1992), known professionally as Majesty Rose was a contestant on Season 13 of American Idol.

Audition

Majesty auditioned in Atlanta. She sang "Violet Hill" by Coldplay. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round

Majesty was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week in the same Group of Ten as Samantha Calmes, John Fox, Brandy Neelly, George Lovett and Viviana Villalon, singing "1234" by Feist. She advanced alongside George, Brandy and John. For her final solo performance, she sang "Stars" by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. At the Final Judgment, the judges told her that she became a Top 30 finalist.

Top 30

Majesty was chosen by the judges to sing during Rush Week. She sang "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. Afterwards, it was revealed that she received enough votes to become a Top 13 finalist.

Top 13

Majesty sang "Tightrope" by Janelle Monae. She received enough votes to be "safe" for another week.

Top 12

Majesty sang "Fix You" by Coldplay. She received enough votes to be "safe" for another week.

Top 11

Majesty sang "Let It Go" by Idina Menzel. It was revealed that she was in the "bottom 3", but she was safe for another week.
