Lindsey Michelle Cardinale (born February 5th, 1985) was a contestant on Season 4 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Lindsey auditioned in New Orleans. He sang "Standing Right Next to Me" by Karla Bonoff. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Lindsey was shown in the first part of Hollywood Round singing "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Afterwards, the judges told her she did enough to advance. On the final day, she sang "The Woman in Me (Needs a Man Like You)" by Shania Twain. It was revealed afterwards that she did enough to advance along with Anthony Fedorov, Jaclyn Crum, Tammy Wynette Nash, Scott Savol, John Zisa, Bo Bice, Mikalah Gordon, and Jessica Sierra. During the judges' final deliberation, it was revealed that she did enough to land a spot in the Top 24.

Lindsey sang "Standing Right Next to Me" by Karla Bonoff. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Lindsey sang "I Try to Think of Elvis" by Patty Loveless. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Lindsey sang "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith. She received enough votes make the Top 12.

Top 12[]

Lindsey sang "Knock on Wood" by Eddie Floyd. She received the lowest number of votes that week, eliminating her from the competition.
