Liahona Olayan (born November 30, 2003)[1] was a contestant on Season 19 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Liahona auditioned in San Diego. She sang an original song called "Listen to My Heart" with her brother, Ammon Olayan. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Liahona was shown in the "Pop" category of the Genre Challenge, alongside Ammon Olayan, Liv Grace Blue, Laila Mach, and Ava August. She was later shown in a duet with Laila Mach called "Machhona" singing "Stay" by Rihanna, ft. Mikky Ekko. Despite a rough performance, both performers advanced. During the Showstoppers Round, she sang "Me Too" by Meghan Trainor. At the Final Judgment, the judges told her she did enough to make the Top 24.

Liahona sang "Just Friends" by Audrey Mika and "Say So" by PJ Morton, ft. JoJo in a duet with Morton. She did not receive enough votes to place in the Top 8 in her group and was eliminated.
