Lacey Elizabeth Brown (born August 13th, 1985) was a contestant on Season 8 and Season 9 of American Idol.

Her stay in Hollywood was not televised much, and though untelevised, she lost a sing-off against Megan Joy at the judges' mansion.

Season 9 Audition[]

Lacey auditioned in Orlando. She sang "Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Season 9 Hollywood Round[]

Her stay in Hollywood wasn't shown much, but she sang "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong for her final solo performance. She was placed in a holding room with Shelby Dressel, Haeley Vaughn, Maddie Penrose, Jessica Furney, Angela Martin, Didi Benami, Lee DeWyze, Aaron Kelly, Ashley Rodriguez, Joe Munoz, John Park, J.B. Ahfua and Janell Wheeler. It was revealed that everyone in the room had advanced. At the judges' final deliberation, they told her she did enough to make the Top 24.
