Lacey's audition was not televised.

Season 8 Hollywood Round[]

Her stay in Hollywood was not televised much, and though untelevised, she lost a sing-off against Megan Joy at the judges' mansion.

Season 9 Audition[]

Lacey auditioned in Orlando. She sang "Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Season 9 Hollywood Round[]

Her stay in Hollywood wasn't shown much, but she sang "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong for her final solo performance. She was placed in a holding room with Shelby Dressel, Haeley Vaughn, Maddie Penrose, Jessica Furney, Angela Martin, Didi Benami, Lee DeWyze, Aaron Kelly, Ashley Rodriguez, Joe Munoz, John Park, J.B. Ahfua and Janell Wheeler. It was revealed that everyone in the room had advanced. At the judges' final deliberation, they told her she did enough to make the Top 24.

Lacey sang "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Lacey sang "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Lacey sang "The Story" by Brandi Carlile. She received enough votes to become a Top 12 finalist.

Top 12[]

Lacey sang "Ruby Tuesday" by The Rolling Stones. She received enough votes to be considered for that week, eliminating her from the competition.
