Audition[]
LaKisha auditioned in New York. She sang "Think" by Aretha Franklin. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
LaKisha's stay in Hollywood was not televised much, but she did manage to make the final forty. On the last day of Hollywood week, she sang "Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)" by Aretha Franklin. After that, the judges revealed to her that she had made it to the Top 24.
