Kristin Nicole Holt (born August 17, 1981)[1] was a contestant on Season 1 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Kristin auditioned in Atlanta. She sang "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys. It is known that at least Paula and Simon voted "yes", sending her through to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Kristin's time in Hollywood was not televised much, but she did manage to make the Top 30.

Top 30[]

Kristin was in Group 3, and reprised her audition song choice, "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys. She did not receive enough votes to make the Top 10, thus eliminating her from the competition.

Post-Idol[]

Kristin served as a special correspondent for Season 2. She was once considered as a potential replacement for Brian Dunkleman, to be Ryan Seacrest's new co-host.[2]

She has also hosted a variety of other shows on television and radio, as well as special events. Kristin was also the vocalist of the band Stranger Days, from 2004-2007.[2]

Trivia[]

  • Kristin married (in 2008) and is now known professionally as Kristin Adams.[2]
