television, film, and musical theatre. She's won two Tony Awards and one Emmy Award. She made her Broadway debut in 1997 in the play Steel Pier. She also originated the role of Glinda in the musical Wicked. She's even earned Emmy nominations for her role as April Rhodes on the Fox series Glee. She's also starred in such films as the 2006 remake of The Pink Panther and 2008's Four Christmases among other films.

As a singer, she has released four albums.

Chenoweth was a guest judge on season 9 of American Idol when the auditions took place in Orlando, Florida.
