Kristen Danielle O'Connor (born April 19, 1989) is an American singer from Sebastian, Florida who finished in 13th place on Season 13 of American Idol.

Kristen, who is from Sebastian, Florida, which is near Orlando, was working as a nurse tech when she tried out for the show.
American Idol[]
Kristen tried out for the show singing "Good Morning Heartache" by the great Billie Holliday. Impressed by her voice, she got three yeses and made it to Hollywood where she did very well. Yet when she made the top 30, her take on the Adele song "Turning Tables" didn't impress the public so she had to sing one of her Hollywood performances, "Unconditionally" by Katy Perry, in order to earn her place in the top 13. She made it as a wildcard.
For "This Is Me" week, Kristen chose to sing "Beautiful Disaster" by Kelly Clarkson. However, it proved to be her last as she was eliminated on February 27, 2014.
