Kira Scott was a contestant on Season 2 and Season 3 of American Idol.

Season 2 Audition[edit | edit source]

Kira's audition was not televised, however it was mentioned that she auditioned in Season 2.

Season 3 Audition[edit | edit source]

Kira auditioned in New York. She sang "Have You Ever Been in Love" by Celine Dion. Although Simon voted "no", Randy and Paula voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

Kira was shown in the second part of Hollywood Week singing an original song called "Midnight Call", directed at Simon Cowell. After her audition, she went off on Simon because of the comments that he made during her original audition in New York and called him gay, which the judges felt was too disrespectful. Despite all this, she survived the first cut. She was not shown at any point after that, so she was probably eliminated sometime thereafter.
