Kenedi Anderson (born March 4, 2004)[1] was a contestant on Season 20 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Kenedi auditioned in Los Angeles. She sang "Applause" by Lady Gaga. Moved by her audition, all three judges voted "yes" and gave her a Platinum Ticket, giving her the bypass to skip the first round of Hollywood Week.
Hollywood Round[]
Because Kenedi received the Platinum Ticket, she received the honour of being able to pick her duet partner. She chose Jordan Chase. Performing as "Hot Mess", they sang "Lean on Me" by Bill Withers. For her final solo performance, she sang "Talking to the Moon" by Bruno Mars. Afterwards, the judges told her that she did enough to make the Top 24.

Kenedi appeared in Group 2 and sang "Human" by Christina Perri. Afterward, it was revealed that Kenedi withdrew from the competition for unknown reasons.[1]

- Kenedi is the third contestant, and first female, to withdraw on their own terms after making the semifinals.
- Kenedi auditioned for the sixteenth season of America's Got Talent, but her audition was untelevised.
