Kelli Glover (born August 27, 1982)[1] was a contestant on Season 1 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Kelli auditioned in New York City. She sang "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly Parton/Whitney Houston. It is not known precisely how the judges voted, but at least two of them voted "yes", sending her through to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Kelli was shown (albeit not heard singing) near the conclusion of Hollywood Week, when the judges were deliberating upon the Top 30. The judges said that she was one of the better girls, and therefore advanced her into the semifinals.

Top 30[]

Kelli was in Group 1, and reprised her audition song choice, "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly Parton/Whitney Houston. Although she did not place amongst the top three from her group, she was selected to compete in the Wild-Card Round.

Wild-Card[]

On the Wild-Card show, Kelli sang "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You?" by Laura Branigan/Michael Bolton. The judges decided not to pick her as the Wild-Card contestant, thus eliminating her from the competition.

After the Show[]

Kelli later appeared on the fourth season of America's Got Talent, but was eliminated during Vegas Week. She appeared again in the ninth season and made it to the semifinals.
