Season 16 Hollywood Round[]
Kay was shown in a group called "DNA" with Ada Vox singing "Want to Want Me" by Jason DeRulo. She was later shown in the final Solo Round singing "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele. She advanced and during the Showcase Round, she sang "Brokenhearted" by Karmin. At the Final Judgment, it was revealed that she did enough to advance to the Top 24.

Kay was shown in Group 1. She sang "Love on the Brain" by Rihanna and "Drive By" by Train in a duet with Patrick Monahan. She was eliminated at this stage of the competition.
