Katherine Mari "Katie" Stevens (born December 8th, 1992) was a contestant on Season 9 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Katie auditioned in Boston. She sang "At Last" by Etta James. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

She was shown in the first televised Group of Eight, along with Antonio "Skii Bo Ski" Wheeler and Marcus Jones. She sang "For Once in My Life" by Stevie Wonder. She did enough to advance. She was shown in a group called "Three Men and a Baby" along with Andrew Garcia and J.B. Ahfua singing "No One" by Alicia Keys. Every member of her group advanced. After her final solo performance, he was placed in the same holding room as Casey James, Tim Urban, Tyler Grady, Andrew Garcia, Todrick Hall, Jermaine Sellers, Siobhan Magnus, Crystal Bowersox, Alex Lambert, Michael Lynche, Thaddeus Johnson, Tori Kelly, Lilly Scott and Jeff Goldford. Everyone in her room advanced. At the final deliberation, it was revealed that she made the Top 24.
