Caroline Baran (born May 10, 2001),[1][2] known professionally as Kaeyra, was a contestant on Season 21 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Kaeyra auditioned in Las Vegas. He sang "Cold" by Chris Stapleton. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Kaeyra chose to work on her Stage Presence in the first part of Hollywood Week. She sang "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden. For her final solo performance, she sang "River" by Bishop Briggs. Afterwards, the judges told her that she did enough to place in the Top 26.

Top 26 (Hawaii Round)[]

Kaeyra sang "Don't Let Go (Love)" by En Vogue. She received enough votes to be deemed "safe" for another week.

Top 20[]

Kaeyra sang "Bruises" by Lewis Capaldi. She did not receive enough votes to make the Top 10, putting her in danger of elimination. She then sang "If I Were Your Woman" by Gladys Knight & The Pips. The judges chose not to save her, eliminating her from the competition.

Trivia[]

  • Kaeyra appeared on the thirteenth season of America's Got Talent. She advanced to the Judge Cuts but did not participate in them.
