Kady Malloy (born May 9th, 1989) was a contestant on Season 7 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Kady auditioned in Dallas. After singing "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" in a Britney Spears impersonation. She sang "Unchained Melody" by The Righteous Brothers. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Rounds[]

Kady's stay in Hollywood was not televised much, but it was revealed that she made the judges' final fifty and during the final deliberation, she did enough to insure a place in the Top 24.

Top 24[]

Kady sang "A Groovy Kind of Love" by The Mindbenders. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 20[]

Kady sang "Magic Man" by Heart. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 16[]

Kady sang "Who Wants to Live Forever" by Queen. She was placed in the Bottom 2 for that week, eliminating her from the competition.

  • Ryan revealed during the Top 20 results show that she received the lowest voting total of the contestants who were safe that week.
