Julie Zorrilla (born November 10th, 1990) was a contestant on Season 10 of American Idol.

Audition[edit | edit source]

Julie auditioned in San Francisco. She sang "Summertime" by George Gershwin. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

Julie was shown in a montage of contestants who survived the first round of Hollywood Week. She was later shown in a group called "The Night Owls" by Casey Abrams, Dan Noguchi, Lara Johnston and Melissa Lucas singing "Get Ready" by The Temptations. For the third round, she sang "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles while playing the keyboard. She was placed in Deliberation Room 4, along with Thia Megia, Naima Adedapo, Carson Higgins, Jovany Barreto, Rachel Zevita and Scotty McCreery. Everyone in her room advanced.

Las Vegas Round[edit | edit source]

In Las Vegas, Julie sang "Something" with Tim Halperin. She advanced.

Back in Hollywood, she was shown singing. At the judges final deliberation, they told her she did enough to make the Top 24.

Top 24[edit | edit source]

Julie sang "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson. She was eliminated at this stage of the competition.
