Julia Megan DeMato (born March 7th, 1979) was a contestant on Season 2 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Julia auditioned in New York. She sang "Un-Break My Heart" by Toni Braxton. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Julia was shown in a group with Kimberly Caldwell, Stephanie Schultz and Elizabeth Dickerson. She was shown on the final day singing "Un-Break My Heart" by Toni Braxton. Later, it was revealed that she did enough to make the Top 32.

Top 32[]

Julia performed in Group 1, she sang "Son of a Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield. She received enough votes to advance to the Top 12.

Top 12[]

Julia sang "Where Did Our Love Go" by The Supremes. She was placed in the Bottom 2 for that week.

Julia sang "Flashdance... What a Feeling" by Irene Cara. She was placed in the Bottom 3 for that week.
