Jessica Phillips was a contestant on Season 11 of American Idol.

Audition[edit | edit source]

Jessica auditioned in Portland. She sang "Again" by Faith Evans. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

Jessica was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week, in the same Group of Ten as David Leathers, Jr., Angie Zeiderman and Shannon Magrane. She sang "All the Man That I Need" by Whitney Houston. She advanced and after her untelevised final solo performance, she was placed in the second deliberation room along with Eben Franckewitz, Skylar Laine, Shannon Magrane, Jeremy Rosado, Reed Grimm and Phillip Phillips where it was revealed that everyone had advanced.

Las Vegas Round[edit | edit source]

Jessica was shown in a group called "The Neopolitans" with Courtney Williams and Britnee Kellogg singing "You Keep Me Hangin' On" by The Supremes. She was the only member of her group that was eliminated.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • At the time of her audition, her boyfriend, D'Angelo, suffered a stroke, causing Jessica to take on the role of his caretaker.
