Jason Warrior (born April 9, 1995)[1] was a contestant on Season 19 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Jason sang "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye for his audition. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Jason was shown in a montage of contestants who advanced following the Genre Challenge, alongside Zachary D'Onofrio, Madison Watkins, Anilee List, Alyssa Wray, Hannah Everhart, Alanis Sophia, and Ronda Felton. During the Showstoppers Round, he sang "Believer" by Imagine Dragons. Afterwards, during the Final Judgment, the judges told him that he did enough to become a Top 24 semifinalist.

Top 24[]

Jason sang "Call Out My Name" by The Weeknd and "How Deep is Your Love" by The Bee Gees in a duet with PJ Morton. He did not receive enough votes to place in the Top 8 in his group and was eliminated.

  • Prior to the show, Jason auditioned for the first season of The Four: Battle for Stardom. He was eliminated in Week 5.
    • He had a confrontation with judge Meghan Trainor that went viral.[2] Purportedly, security was called after the incident.[3]
  • Additionally, he appeared on the eleventh season of The Voice where he went onto Alicia Keys' team and was eliminated the Live Playoffs.
