Jacob Lusk (born June 23rd, 1987) was a contestant on Season 10 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Jacob's audition was originally not televised, but a flashback revealed he auditioned in Los Angeles. He sang "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone" by The Temptations. It's unknown how the judges voted, but at least two of them voted "yes," sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Jacob was shown in a group called "Ebony, Ivory and Every" with Naima Adedapo, Matthew Nuss and Da'Quela Payne singing "Get Ready" by The Temptations. In the third part of Hollywood Week, he was shown singing "God Bless the Child" by Billie Holliday.

Las Vegas Round[]

In Las Vegas, he sang "The Long and Winding Road" with Naima Adedapo and Haley Reinhart. He advanced.

Back at Hollywood, he sang "A Song for You" by Leon Russell for his final performance. At the judges' final deliberation, the judges told him that he did enough to make the Top 24.

Jacob sang "A House is Not a Home" by Brook Benton. He was placed in the Top 5 among the boys for that week, making him a Top 13 finalist.
