Audition[]
Jaclyn auditioned in Cleveland. She sang "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys. Although Randy voted "no", Paula, LL, and Simon voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Jaclyn was shown in the first televised Group of Ten, singing "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell She was shown in the same group as Carrie Underwood, Sarah Mather, and Tamesha Foote. The judges told her afterwards she did enough to advance. Before her group round, she was brought to a hospital after her Mom suffered from food poisoning, giving her less time to rehearse with her group than usual. She was shown in a group with Rashida Johnson and Faith Gatewood singing "I Can't Help Myself" by Four Tops. Each member of her group advanced. Jaclyn was shown on the final part of Hollywood Round singing "Beautiful Disaster" by Kelly Clarkson. It was revealed afterwards that she did enough to advance along with Anthony Fedorov, Tammy Wynette Nash, Scott Savol, John Zisa, Bo Bice, Mikalah Gordon, Lindsey Cardinale, and Jessica Sierra. During the judges' final deliberation, she was called up with Amanda Avila and it was revealed that she was eliminated in favor of Amanda.
