Jaclyn Cole Miskanic (born May 5, 1996), known professionally as JAX (stylized as Jax after the show), was a contestant on Season 14 of American Idol.
Audition[]
JAX auditioned in New York. She sang "I Want to Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.JAX was called up by the judges immediately before Hollywood Round could official begin. She sang "Toxic" by Britney Spears. Later, she was shown in a group called "Sal's Gals" with Sal Valentinetti, Kelley Kime and Alexis Danielle Granville singing "Drive By" by Train. For her final solo performance, she sang "You and I" by Lady Gaga. At the Final Judgment, the judges told her she did enough to make the Top 24.

JAX was signed to Atlantic Records in 2021 after several independent singles received strong reviews. Her most successful single was "Victoria's Secret" in 2022, which was certified Platinum by the RIAA, and she was extremely popular on TikTok as well.
