Han Hee-jun (born April 20th, 1989) was a contestant on Season 11 of American Idol.


Heejun auditioned in Pittsburgh. He sang "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" by Michael Bolton. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood RoundEdit

Heejun was shown in the first televised Group of Ten with Johnny Keyser. He sang "How Am I Supposed to Love Without You" by Michael Bolton. He advanced and was shown in a group called "M.I.T." (or Most International Team) with Phillip Phillips, Richie Law and Jairon Jackson singing "Broken Strings" by James Morrison and Nelly Furtado. Despite a rocky performance, everyone in their group advanced. After his untelevised final solo performance, he was placed in the fourth deliberation room along with Baylie Brown, Britnee Kellogg, Angie Zeiderman, Richie Law, Stephanie Renae, Neco Starr and Gabi Carrubba among others, where it was revealed that everyone in the room had advanced.

Las Vegas RoundEdit

Heejun was shown in a group with Phillip Phillips, Neco Starr and Jairon Jackson singing "I Only Have Eyes for You" by The Flamingos. Everyone in his group advanced.

For his final solo performance, he sang "New York State of Mind" by Billy Joel. At the Final Judgment, the judges told him that he did enough to make the Top 24.

Top 25Edit

Heejun sang "Angels" by Robbie Williams. He was placed in the Top 5 boys based on America's vote, making him a Top 13 finalist.
