Hailey Mia Osorio (born September 1, 2007),[1][2][3] known professionally as Hailey Mia, was a contestant on Season 22 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Hailey auditioned in Santa Barbara. She sang "Rise" by Katy Perry. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Hailey was shown at Idol Arena, singing "Love in the Dark" by Adele. She was subsequently put in the same group as KBlocks, Will Moseley, Scarlett Lee, Dawson Slade, Ty'Esha La'Shae, Jordan Anthony, Micaela McCall, Triston Harper, Jennifer Jeffries, Brant McCollough, Justice Murphy, and Mackenzie Sol. For her Showstopper performance, she sang "Alive" by Sia—which was shown briefly, leading into her Final Judgment, where the judges told her that she did enough to become a Top 24 semifinalist.

Top 24 (Hawaii Round)[]

Hailey was mentored by Tori Kelly in Group 1. She sang "she's all i wanna be" by Tate McRae. She, alongside Blake Proehl, received the lowest number of votes, thus eliminating her from the competition.

Trivia[]

  • Hailey appeared in the twenty-first season of The Voice, where she went on Ariana Grande's team in her audition, and then was stolen by Kelly Clarkson in The Knockouts. She finished in fourth place.
  • ABC press photos show that Hailey was brought to Final Judgment simultaneously with Sophia Ava Marie, who was eliminated. However, this was not edited into the episode.[4]
