Grace Kinstler (born August 3, 2000)[1][2] was a contestant on Season 19 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Grace auditioned in Los Angeles. She sang "Midnight Train to Georgia" by Gladys Knight & The Pips and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin for her audition. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Grace was shown in the "Soul" category of the Genre Challenge, alongside Re'h, Celeste Butler, Xavier Washington and DJ Johnson. She sang "10 Seconds" by Jazmine Sullivan. She was later shown in a group called "The BBG's" with Alyssa Wray singing "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. During the Showstoppers Round, she sang "Father" by Demi Lovato. Afterwards, during the Final Judgment, the judges told her that she made the Top 24.

Grace sang "Elastic Heart" by Sia. She received enough votes to become a Top 12 finalist. To celebrate, she sang "Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande.

Grace sang "Happy" by Pharrell Williams (from Despicable Me 2). She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Grace sang "Into the Unknown" by Idina Menzel & Aurora (from Frozen II). She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Grace sang "Fix You" by Coldplay and "When We Were Young" by Adele. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Grace sang "A Moment Like This" by Kelly Clarkson, "Love Someone", "Father" by Demi Lovato and "What They'll Say About Us" by FINNEAS in a duet with Willie Spence. She received enough votes to advance to the Finale.
Season 19 Finale[]
Grace sang "All By Myself" by Celine Dion and "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston. She received fewer votes than Willie Spence and Chayce Beckham in the voting, eliminating her from the competition.
