Gina Glocksen (born July 4, 1984) was a contestant on Season 5 and Season 6 of American Idol.
Season 5 Audition[]
Gina auditioned in Chicago. She sang "The Power of Love" by Celine Dion. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Season 5 Hollywood Round[]
Gina was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week singing "If I Ever Fall in Love" by Shai. After her unaired group performance and her final solo performance, she was placed in the same holding room as Tyra Juliette Schwartz and Nicole Turk. Everyone in this group was eliminated.
Season 6 Audition[]
Gina auditioned in Memphis. She sang "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Season 6 Hollywood Round[]
Gina was shown in a montage of successful contestants from the first day of Hollywood Week. She eventually made it to the judges' final forty and on the last day of Hollywood Week, she sang "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" by Bryan Adams. Later, the judges revealed that she had made it to the Top 24.

Gina sang "All By Myself" by Eric Carmen. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.
Top 20[]
Gina sang "Alone" by Heart. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.
Top 16[]
Gina sang "Call Me When You're Sober" by Evanescence. She received enough votes to make the Top 12.
Top 12[]
Gina sang "Love Child" by Diana Ross. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.
Top 11[]
Gina sang "Paint It Black" by The Rolling Stones. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.
Top 10[]
Gina sang "I'll Stand by You" by The Pretenders. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.
Top 9[]
Gina sang "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin. She received the lowest number of votes, eliminating her from the competition.

- During Season 5, Gina, auditioned in the same city around the same time as Mandisa who placed 9th that year.
- Gina said during her audition that he tried out for American Idol twice before.
