Flying Without Wings is the debut single of Ruben Studdard, the winner of Season 2 of American Idol. It was performed by Studdard during the Season 2 Finale. It was written by Wayne Hector and Steve Mac and originally performed by Westlife.
It was released on June 10th, 2003 and charted at Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, behind his fellow runner-up's single This is the Night.
It reached #2 on Canada's SoundScan singles chart, and Ruben performed the song during the first season finale of Canadian Idol.
