Audition[]
Eric auditioned in Atlanta. He sang "Somewhere Out There" by James Ingram and Linda Ronstadt. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Eric was shown in the second part of Hollywood Week singing an original song about Paula Abdul. He was shown in the group round with Alan Ritchson and Donnie Williams singing "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Donnie Williams. Later, it was revealed he advanced to the Judges' final thirty-two.
Top 32[]
Eric was shown in Group 3. He sang "In the Still of the Night" by The Five Satins. He did not receive enough votes to make the Top 2 in his group.
Wild-Card[]
Prior to the performances, he was one of four additional contestants who reached consideration, but were called up on stage and told they would not be performing that evening.
