Audition[]
Emily auditioned in Phoenix. She sang "Barracuda" by Heart. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Emily was shown in the second day of Hollywood Week, in the same group of eight as David Osmond and Erika Wesley. She was originally going to sing "I Put a Spell on You", but instead she changed her mind and sang "Excuse Me Mister" by No Doubt. Despite this sudden song change, she advanced. Later, she was shown in a group called "Action Squad" along with Alex Wagner-Trugman, Ann Marie Boskovich and Ryan Pinkston singing "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac. She was eliminated along with Ryan while Alex and Ann Marie advanced.
After the Show[]
Emily appeared on the first season of The Voice under the name Emily Valentine. She went on Cee-Lo Green's team and was eliminated at The Battles.
